Osage Township is located in the northwest corner of Labette County. It is boarder on the north by 27000 Road, the Neosho Labette County line, to the south by 19000 Road, to the west by Anderson Road, the Montgomery Labette County Line, and to the east by Harper Road. Our Township is approximately 60 square miles and is home to around 800 people. Osage Township is mostly made up of rural living with farming being a big industry. The small town of Dennis, Kansas is located in Osage Township. Dennis offers a few small businesses and is host to the township fire department and community center. There is also a community storm shelter located in Dennis at the fire department. Osage Township is also home to Big Hill Lake.
The members of the Osage Township Fire Department would like to take this opportunity to thank the community for their support over the years. Without the support of the community, there would be no Fire Department. The members of the Osage Township Fire Department would also like to point out that they pride themselves in providing the best fire protection and medical care at all times. This is accomplished through extensive training, hard work and dedication. Our commitment to the community is to constantly strive to be the best!
