ABOUT US
As with all of Labette County's other Rural Fire Departments, we respond to more than just fires. Osage Township Fire Department responds to all of the emergency medical calls that an ambulance is dispatched to in our Township. We also serve as Weather Spotters when the County Emergency Management Coordinator deems it nessesary. In addition to these other tasks, we also assist with search and rescue operations when needed. In order to provide the best service we can to the residents of Osage Township and surrounding areas, we have entered into mutal aid agreements with our neighboring Fire Departments. These agreements were made so that if we are in the need for extra help or if other Fire Department need help it will be there.
