MEDICAL  PROTOCOLS
In 2004 the Rural Fire Departments of Labette County and Labette County EMS united together to produce to first countywide First Responder Medical Protocols. This was done to standardize the level care that was rendered to all patients regardless of what Fire Department responded to the call. These protocols are designed to work hand in hand with the County EMS protocols and follow the standard level of care that is provided by a certified First Responder.
